Our apartments have all been named after the year in which they were first documented: “anno 1290”, “anno 1793” and “anno 1838”. All quite old, wouldn’t you say?
Each apartment has a special charm of its own, all offering a special testimony of the past: whether you come to visit us on your own, as a couple, as a family with children, with friends or with a dog, you will definitely find the ideal accommodation here for a holiday in South Tyrol. Stay amid centuries-old medieval walls and experience the history of South Tyrol in close-up! Our “anno 1290” apartment is located in the “Old House” of the Oberniederhof. This part of the farm was first documented in 1290 and has since served as a courthouse, a prison and an inn.
Here you can enjoy the warmth of the oven in the old farmhouse Stube or parlour, read comfortably on the warm bench next to the oven or imagine how Speck (ham) was smoked in the vaulted kitchen in olden times. After a long day’s skiing or hiking you can warm up in the infrared cabin in or little “feel-good” room, then dream of times gone by in the cosy four-poster bed. If you keep your eyes open you are sure to discover one or two traces of the past here.

The entire attic space of the “Old House” has been converted into a spacious, cosy and comfortable holiday apartment. We paid particular attention to preserving the past while combining it with high-quality materials and first-class comforts, so you can marvel at the old rural wall paintings in the modern kitchen or listen to the creaking of the old wooden walls while cuddling up in a bed made of stone pine as you watch the stars through the skylight.
The “anno 1793” apartment is ideal for a family holiday with children, for a weekend trip with friends, but also if you are holding a seminar, course or workshop in South Tyrol. For groups of more than eight people our “anno 1290” apartment, located in the same house, can be rented simultaneously.

The “anno 1838” apartment is in the “New House” on our farm.
You can sit together and listen to the crackling of the wood-burning stove in the cosy living-dining kitchen, constructed of clay, wood and stone, or dream of your next adventures in South Tyrol in the wood-panelled bedrooms that date from the 19th century. Our large lawn, next to the apartment, features a lovely seating area with wooden benches and deckchairs for all our holiday guests – a place where in summer you can breakfast, have a barbecue or just enjoy your holiday to the full.
